Geithner: We must move quickly on bank reform plan.

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner on Thursday pressed lawmakers on Capitol Hill on Thursday to move quickly to approve a sweeping revamp of the U.S. financial regulatory system introduced by the Obama administration on Wednesday. "Important thing is we get legislation passed that addressed the core problems in the system that were at the center of this crisis and present vulnerability in the system," Geithner told lawmakers in the Senate Banking Committee hearing.
